Welcome to part three of my mini-series ‘Top 5 Secret Drains on our Energy’.

In this video, I’ll discuss the third secret drain on our energy– negative self-talk.  

How we talk to ourselves inside our minds can have a huge impact on our self-belief, in our ability to have a positive outlookand our confidenceto go out in the world and reach our potential

I’ve had my own experience of negative self-talk and learned ways to manage it and change my patterns of behaviour by meditation, journaling and repeating affirmations. It takes consistent action but it can be done!

Welcome to part two of my mini-series ‘Top 5 Secret Drains on our Energy’.

In this video, I’ll discuss the second secret drain on our energy– when we become over-involved in gossip and criticizing others.  Do you feel uncomfortable or upset when you hear your good friends expressing negative opinions about people, have you thought about how these opinions are impacting on your own energy? Do you often feel you’re constantly complaining and being judgemental of others?

In today’s world where we are constantly bombarded with images and information – Social Media, from groups of friends and on our televisions. It is often difficult to remember our true self and our core values, we form new patterns of negative behaviour without even realizing it, and expressing critical, judgmental opinions about others becomes a habit.

Top Five Secret Drains on our Energy

Welcome to part one of my mini-series ‘Top 5 Secret Drains on our Energy’.

We sometimes aren’t aware of our emotional habits and how they drain our energy. We’ve often carried these habits for many years, so much so, they become part of our everyday life – draining our energy, causing both emotional and physical anxiety and stress, affecting our mood and outlook on life and causing negativity.

In this video, I’ll discuss the first secret drain on our energy – when we’re not being true to ourselves, and share my top tip for finding space in your life to begin the process of balancing your inner self with the constant demands of everyday.

When you’re being true to yourself, you’ll need to honestly recognise what you feel, value and want, and learn how to communicate your feelings with both yourself and others.
